Best Easter Movies To Watch With Family

Best Easter Movies To Watch With Family

Spending Easter in lockdown does not have to mean any less fun, here are some fantastic film recommendations to watch this weekend.

At Cork International Hotel, we do miss our Family Date Nights. We had a bumper movie schedule planned in our Cinema Room for the Easter weekend, but you’ll have to make do at home until lockdown is lifted! With this in mind, we asked Eoghan Murphy, our Deputy General Manager to put together his list of Easter movies for you to watch at home as a family when you finally run out of Easter crafts, baking and egg hunts.

Watch the following movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime or Disney Plus, or see the weekend’s TV listing at the end.

Peter Rabbit – Netflix

The perfect Easter treat for all the family, enjoy one of the world’s most famous rabbits get into (and out of) mischief galore.

Christopher Robin – Disney Plus

Get lost in the Hundred-Acre-Wood and go on an adventure with Winnie the Pooh. Now more than ever, as we all stay home, Pooh Bear’s famous phrase rings true… “Sometimes doing nothing is the very best something”.

Duck, Duck, Goose – Netflix

Forget the eggs and watch this flock instead as a carefree goose takes a pair of lost ducklings under his wing.

Hop – Amazon Prime

E.B., the Easter Bunny’s teenage son, heads to Hollywood, determined to become a drummer in a rock ‘n’ roll band. In LA, he’s taken in by Fred after the out-of-work slacker hits E.B. with his car.

As adults, we all know the iconic chocolate cake scene. Treat your children to this whimsical movie based on a Roddy Doyle novel and elax as Matilda reminds us that ‘Somewhere inside all of us is the power to change the world.’

You may not be able to leave the house, but you can embark on a fun filled action packed voyage with Moana and mighty demigod Maui.
