From food stalls to festive films outdoors, this year Cork’s Christmas Markets are set to be the best so far. Cork now has a number of Christmas Markets for you to enjoy on your visit. We have created a guide of what to expect from some of the best Christmas Markets in Cork.
Harley StrEAT
Following on from their success during Jazz Weekend, Harley StrEAT located in Cork’s Victorian Quarter have a festive food line up for the run up to Christmas. Along side their delicious tacos, Taco Rebel will also be offering up French Toast Roll-Ups, the ultimate treat. Served with Nutella, Biscoff Spread, Caramel & more, it is the perfect evening treat to enjoy as you are gazing at the Christmas lights along Cork. Bevs & Brews will also be getting in on the Christmas Spirit with their Winter Warmer menu. Along with their Bailey’s hot chocolate and Irish Coffee, they also have a delicious Kinder Hot Chocolate, which is sure to be a favourite with kids & adults alike.

Mardyke Christmas Market
Mardyke Christmas Market makes it debut this year on the ground of Cork Cricket Club. Filled with food trucks, live music and Santa’s Grotto, Mardyke Christmas Market is set to bring a great sense of Christmas Spirit down at Cork’s quieter areas. There will also be a marquee that can seat up to 60 people for you to enjoy your festive food. From Bad Boys BBQ’s delicious burgers, to Celia Yak’s loaded fries to Huck’s Doughnut’s, there will be plenty for all the family to enjoy. Not only that, but Santa will also make a visit to Mardyke Christmas Market at his grotto. There is still some availability to book your place to visit the grotto, but there will also be a vintage Santa Sleigh for the kids to take pictures with. There will also be fantastic craft stalls and Christmas Trees for sale.

Marina Market
This year, there is even more Christmas Magic at Marina Market. With their usual fantastic food offering, Marina Market will be having some amazing Christmas events. Santa Claus & his elves will be popping by for their ‘Santa in The City Event’ from the 27th of November. Before meeting Santa, you will be brought through a Winter Wonderland filled with lights and snow capped trees. It is the perfect experience for all the family after a day of sampling food form the vendors in the market. Keep and eye on their Instagram for any updates.
As well as this, Marina Market will be hosting a series of Pop-Up Cinemas showing ultimate Christmas classics. Starting from 9th December to 12th December, Marina Market will be transformed into a magical cinema with a big screen and comfy seating with films for everyone. GLOW Festival Cork
The much loved GLOW Festival will make it’s return this year to light up Cork in stunning Christmas lights. Bishop Lucey Park will be lit up with lights in the theme of ‘The 12 Day of Christmas’, which is the perfect way for you & your family to spend an evening. Grand Parade will also see the return of the 30m Ferris Wheel, which has been a family favourite for years. There will also be plenty of food stalls in operation to enjoy some delicious Winter Warmers.
