Looking for a quick and easy dinner recipe that the whole family will enjoy? Try this traditional Mexican beef taco recipe from our Head Chef Martin O’Mahony. This recipe is perfect for a family movie night or game night and is perfect for sharing. Eat as much or as little as you like!
Recipe makes four portions:
INGREDIENTS
- 400g minced beef
- 60g Fajita spice mix
- 1 onion Diced
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 tins chopped tomato
- Olive oil for frying
- Taco shell x 8
- Iceberg lettuce 1/2 head
- Sour cream 80ml
- Cheddar cheese.
METHOD
- Saute onions and garlic
- Add beef and fajita mix
- When beef is cooked through, add tomatoes
- Cook for 30 min.
- Fill taco shell with beef mix and iceberg lettuce
- Top with sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheddar to taste.
