The Easter Holidays are finally here, so it’s time to start planning some extra fun family activities. Our Family Concierge team have put together a exciting list of things to enjoy this Easter Break with the family.

 

Leahy’s Open Farm

Leahy’s Open Farm is located in Easter Cork, about 30 minutes away form Cork International Hotel, and is a perfect way to enjoy a Easter weekend afternoon for the family. They have a fantastic selection of animals such as bunnies, sheep, lambs and horses that the kids can feed and cuddle. As well as their brilliant activities on the farm such as the digger park, go-karting and climbing towers, this Easter Leahy’s Farm have plenty of Easter activities. From Thursday 14th of April to Monday 18th of April, Leahy’s Open Farm will have daily Easter Egg hunts for the kids to enjoy as well as egg & spoon races for the parents. Funderland

What is a little bit of a Cork tradition, Funderland makes its return to Cork this Easter bank holiday. From 1st April until 24th April, the whole family can enjoy the thrills and spills of Funderland, located on the Tramore Road, only 10 minutes away from Cork International Hotel. Whether it is having a go on the bumper cars or a ride on the waltzers, there is plenty of fun to be had for all the family this Easter break. There is no need to book in advance and ride admissions can be bought on the day. Funderland is open from 12pm to 10pm everyday. Just to note, Funderland will be closed on Monday 18th April. Easter Chocolate Afternoon Tea

Need a more chilled and laid back afternoon this Easter break? Our Easter Chocolate Afternoon Tea is the perfect treat for all the family to enjoy. Filled with delicious chocolate treats, such as white chocolate fudge, coconut brownies & triple chocolate cupcakes, this Easter Eggstravaganza is the perfect way to unwind after a day filled with fun and adventure. Perfect for everyone, from young to old, this Easter Chocolate Afternoon Tea is sure to get you egg-cited for Easter. It’s the perfect activity to celebrate and spend time with friends and family. Smuggler’s Cove

Looking for a day filled with excitement and thrills during the Easter break? Look no further than Smuggler’s Cove in Roscarberry. An hour drive away from Cork International Hotel, Smuggler’s Cove is Ireland’s first tubing park with 4 tracks varying from 50 to 100 meters for the family to speed down. But it is not just the tubing park to get excited about. Boasting a four tower timber maze and crazy golf, Smuggler’s Cove is the perfect place to the family to spend the day with excitement around each corner. Fota Wildlife Park

No visit to Cork with the family is complete without to a trip to Fota Wildlife Park. From children to parents to grandparents, will have an amazing day at Fota Wildlife as you encounter every animal from giraffes, zebras & monkeys. There is also plenty of spots for you and the family to enjoy a picnic or a ice-cream in the sun. This Easter, Fota Wildlife park will also be welcoming back their in-park train which can bring families all around the park if you want to save on the walking! Only a short drive away from Cork City & Cork International Hotel, Fota Wildlife Park is the perfect way to enjoy a day during the Easter break. Easter Activities at Cork International Hotel

Last, but certainly not least, we are delighted to announce our Easter activities that will be happening throughout the Easter Break. Easter is a family tradition at Cork International Hotel, and our family Concierge team have put together an exciting schedule of activities for you and your family to enjoy when you stay with us this Easter midterm. Starting off with a VIP arrival for the little ones, will we also be holding Easter Egg Hunts around the hotel grounds, Easter craft stations in our lobby, outdoor activities like mini golf as well as a visit from the Easter Bunny for those staying with us on Easter Sunday.
