Zip-It

Have an adrenaline filled day out at Zip-It Forest Adventure in a tree-top adventure suitable for the whole family. A perfect place for children to laugh and play as well as letting the adults embrace their inner child.

Before zipping down on over the 800m of ziplines, you can climb high into the treetops, swing into cargo nets and take a ride on a BMX across on a bridge. With 5 circuits ranging from 1 – 20 metres high, Zip-It offers up to 3 hours of fun, for everyone age 7 to adult.

Prices from €15 to €35 depending on your age. From beginners to adrenaline junkies, Zip-It can cater for all. Zip-It is located 20 minutes away from Cork International Hotel.

 

Smuggler’s Cove

Located in Roscarberry, an hour drive away from Cork International Hotel, you will find Smuggler’s Cove, Ireland’s first Summer Tubing Park. With 4 tracks varying from 50 to 100 meters and surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Rosscarbery, Smuggler’s Cove is truly fun-filled experience.

The fun doesn’t end at the tubing park though. Smuggler’s Cove offers a timber maze, which is a fun challenge for all the family, with up and over bridges, cut off paths and confusing turns. They also have a crazy golf course, so you and your friends & family can definitely spend an entire day here.

Atlantic Off-Shore Adventures

Cork International Hotel is only a 20-minute drive away from us, and what is a better way to spend a day at the coast than an afternoon of water sports. Why not try your hand at the trendiest water activity this summer, stand-up paddle boarding, that has taken over the rivers and shores of Ireland at the moment. Go at your own pace and take in all the views that surround you.

Not sure of the idea of paddle-boarding? Why not try kayaking and take your time gliding through the water. There is plenty of water activities to suit everyone.

Ocean Escapes

If you are looking for a more laid-back way to round off your staycation in Cork with family or friends but still with a sense of adventure, why not enjoy a boat trip touring around the coastlines of Cork.  The perfect outing for everyone in your group, everyone will have the time of their lives exploring the waters and coastlines of Cork.

Ocean Escapes allows visitors a trip from the heart of Cork and take in the sights and sounds of the River Lee as you cruise towards the Lower Harbour. Cruise down the River Lee passing Blackrock Castle before heading to the Lower Harbour for drinks in the many bars and restaurants located on the waters edge. Ballyhass Lakes

Looking for a bonding and teamwork activity to get the family together? Why not had down to Ballyhass Lakes for a day on a Aquapark. An hour drive north to Mallow and Coachford, you will find an exhilarating host of activities from a high net course & ziplining to archery & axe throwing. But the highlight of the lakes is truly their inflatable aqua park on the lake.

Munster’s largest and most exiting aquapark and covering over 40m squared of an old quarry lake, Ballyhass is a great day out for friends where you can spend your time jumping, sliding, bouncing & racing one another through the wipeout style course. A day filled with laughs & excitement is guaranteed and is a great group bonding activity.

  1. We have stayed at this hotel many times and always found it to be first class, food and accommodation.
    We would love to return but would like to know what coving restrictions are in place
