FAQs
Do you offer anything for the Communion/ Confirmation Child?
Yes we do, the communion/confirmation child will get a certificate of congratulations and a treat from the team in Cork International Hotel.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.)?
Yes, our kitchen team are very obliging with dietary requirements, but we would appreciate it if you let us know in advance of any dietary needs within your group so our team can be prepared.
How many tables in the Restaurant does each group get?
This vey much depends on the size of your group. We can never guarantee how many tables your group will have but our team set up the Restaurant very lovely on the day and ensures that all groups are comfortable.
Is private dining available for Communion & Confirmation celebrations?
Yes, there is. On busy communion/confirmation days we have 3 private spaces (subject to availability). Private room hire is €250 per room until 8pm. We also offer a BBQ Buffet in our private rooms which is €34.50 per adult & €19 per child. You are able to bring your own entertainment also in the private spaces – please know that we do not allow for bouncy castles, smoke machines or sparkle machines. Minimum numbers for the private spaces are 30 Adults along with however many children are in the group for payment.
How far in advance should I book, and what is your cancellation policy?
As soon as you have the date. Once schools start getting their dates at the start of the school year, our spaces fill up fast. We require a non-refundable deposit of €200 and full pre-payment 1 month prior to the booking to agree on a minimum number.
Can we bring a cake and balloons?
Yes you are more than welcome to bring both a cake and balloons. For cakes, we ask that you bring the receipt with all allergen information – any external foods brought into the hotel needs to be kept track of for health & safety purposes. If you have a homemade cake, we ask you to sign a waiver on the day. For balloons, we ask that they are bagged and labelled with your name on it (to avoid the balloons ending up on another table) and that there are no confetti in the balloons.
