Have stayed here 4 or 5 times now, so handy, just across the road from the airport, great for a stop off when coming in late at night and they do really really good deals if you book in advance. The airport is so close to the city, an easy taxi or bus ride.
Front desk staff are always pretty nice, though it can be a bit slow. Rooms are always great, nice shower etc, though was very disappointed that despite me mentioning it on 2 occasions last year they still haven't done anything about the hairdryer issue - the hairdryer is stuck in a very low drawer in front of the mirror and as the plug has been permanently stuck though a hole in the bottom of the box/drawer it's not move-able, I'm only 5'5" and I have to KNEEL on the floor to dry my hair as it doesn't reach the top of my head! I'd hate to be any taller! Also doesn't reach far enough to use while sitting on the bed so really the floor is the only option which is very silly. Don't know why they don't change this!!
Have eaten in the bar/restaurant there a few times, the food is lovely, especially the deserts, everything a tiny bit pricey, but you always get that at an airport hotel I think.
If you're coming from the airport and not in the back entrance it's very difficult to know where to park, (there is a big parking lot round the back, it can get crowded but I've always gotten a space), when you come from the airport (where I hired a car last time) there are no signs at all and if you try to drive in the general direction of the hotel from the rental lots you end up in the long stay car park, which leads up to the very front of the hotel. I popped into reception to ask if I had parked in the right place and they directed me to the correct car park but didn't refund the cost of the entry into the long term car park which was disappointing. Ultimately my mistake I know, but not sure where else I would have instinctively gone apart from up to the front door of the hotel?
Anyhow, great place, only a few small gripes, would still recommend it to anyone. Just fix the hairdryers!!!!!
