Accommodation Manager

We are currently looking to recruit an Accommodation Manager for Cork International Airport Hotel.
This is a very hands on managerial role that requires excellent accommodation experience within a 4* environment with 2 years experience in a similar role. You must have excellent organizational and leadership skills as well as the ability to communicate fluently in both written and oral English.

Your responsibilities will include:
Management of linen and stock levels.
Compile rosters on a weekly basis.
Management of the lost property system.
Ensure the required standards of customer care are delivered at all times.
Maintain in-house periodical cleaning schedules.
Ensure the accommodation team are trained to the company standard.
Manage the maintenance of guest bedrooms and public areas in liaison with the maintenance manager.
Preparation of rooming lists for accommodation assistants as and when required.
Inspecting guest bedrooms to ensure they are prepared to the required standard.
Checking that the public areas of the hotel are at the required standard.
Duty Management.

 

The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to work well in a team environment and have excellent cleaning skills and attention to detail. This role involves flexibility to work shifts Monday to Sunday inclusive.
